Movie chip technology to be utilized in Apple’s coming computers
There are rumors that the new range of computers by Apple will be available with a new chipset that may support decoding as well as encoding video by making the main processor free to control the remaining computer.
Many companies, like Toshiba, are already using a dedicated chip for video and it’s not a new thing for them. Toshiba is using that technology in its laptops in the form of Quad Core HD Processor.
Besides four 128bit SIMD RISC processors, there are high definition H.264 and MPG2 encoders and decoders in the Quad Four that works parallel with the CPU of the device.
However, according to Apple, its using an NTT DoCoMo-derived H.264 video processor that is first by the company.
The new chip will be handy to decrease the time it takes to edit HD video and it will also support to process live HD video from the web.
The news is still rumbling, but some websites believe that computers with this new technology will be available in September.

Sony Ericsson’s T700: A nice attempt to regain past glory
Sony Ericsson introduced its T610 at the time when mobile phones were new and the people didn’t know what SMS was.
Haaaaaa! Time takes wings and now the company is experiencing decline worldwide, but every cloud has a silver lining and the updated version of the T700 is, indeed, a ray of hope for Sony Ericsson.
This slim metallic phone has been clearly designed to look and feel nice and let you do the things what you want to.
Though you can take some decent pictures with its 3.2MP camera, slim-line chassis at just 10mm is the main feature of the device.

The idea behind premium metallic finish is to develop an expensive looking handset with a low price tag.
There is HSDPA for the quickest possible connection and it will be available in many colors including shining silver and black on red. Q4 has been decided as the time of arrival in some selected markets.
Nintendo sells 30 million Wii units in the U.S.
Nintendo announced 30 million units’ sales for its gaming console Wii in the U.S. The company is also quite optimistic about the future sales of their Wii gaming console.
Wii has proved a successful console for the company and it become the cause to open gaming into many new areas.
The simple games that don’t force a player to make hours of practice has made the motion-sensor driven console a real big hit among the families and make it different from the gamer specific Xbox and PlayStation.
Total 29.72 million units have been sold currently and according to Nintendo’s predictions, there would be 34 percent rise in the coming year and the landmark of 30 million will go after very soon.
The figure might have been surpassed before if it had not been stock problems earlier. Nintendo has confirmed that successor of the Wii brand will be able sooner or later.
