Asus Eee PC 1000HE Netbook
Asus released the latest notebook computer called the Eee PC 1000HE. This is the latest in the 1000 series line of Asus notebooks, actually called a “Netbook”. The new Asus Eee PC 1000HE runs a new 2.66GHz Atom 280 chip instead of the currently used Intel Atom 270 processor.
Although it is a new processor, it is only a minimal increase in the clock speed. But the best part is that the new Asus Eee PC 1000HE is supposed to have a battery life of over 9 hours from the included 6 cell battery!
Specifications include a 10 inch screen with 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N280 Processor. It also has 1GB of Ram , a 160 Gig Hard Drive and runs Windows XP home edition.

The HP Pavilion G50 112 NR Notebook is said to be the coolest laptop made by HP. Others say that it is a pice of junk that Hewlett Packard is just using to get rid of junk parts. But, for the price, it seems to be a great deal from a major brand name company.
