Tell me about it. I always procrastinate when it comes to things like this. I will start backing up my files and get all my passwords in a separate place too. Thanks for the reminder.

I have the premium mozy service, and I have to say, though not having to use the restore services as of yet “THANK GOD”, their backup methods are very simple and easy to use and I get unlimited backup space.

Ohh, I would like to also say that, online storage, file sharing etc… is the future. Basically called “THE CLOUD” or Cloud Computing is where everything is headed, with online applications, photo storage, backup solutions and more. These Backup services are just one of many examples of Cloud Computing nowadays, and another means of being safe with your storage. Just one tip, make sure you find a site for your online storage that is reputable and offers great encryption. Remember your putting your personal data, sometimes sensitive up there, and following those guidelines will make sure your safe as well. Amazon S3 is also another great service to use as well, that is not noted!

Good tip DJ, but I didn’t list Amazon because it is not free, it’s cheap but not free. 5 Gigs for free is all most people should need and Skydrive works wonderfully.
